Xtampak - Palacio
Xtampak is in the Southern part of the Yucatan and is in the Chenes style of architecture. Note the absence of columns in this and succeeding images.
The dense stand of trees here prevented me from getting a view of the entire Palacio in one go. This image show the left and right sides of the structure as it appears now together with Catherwood's engraving. For the next image I superimpsoed the appropriate parts of his drawing onto the images.
